Pros
I enjoyed using my gift for the few years I was there, but this company will exploit you for their own purposes. I received a 30% pay cut after working there for a few years, but that's not even the worst of it. Perhaps certain advisors do fine there. But make no mistake, they do not care about you and will abandon you at a moment's notice. I spoke to the "owner" a couple of times, then he disappeared and I had no idea who I was even conversing with, as they rely on no one really knowing who they are. Such is the way with online businesses I suppose, but they take corruption to new levels. The company blocked me from being able to contact them once I started reporting the threats and harassing calls I was receiving. They literally threatened me with ongoing surveillance once they ended my contract. They said they "have the technology" to continue to watch me (supposedly to see if I was "stealing clients" from them). But anyway, yeah, illegal surveillance. How about that. I'm still dealing with hacked electronics. I'm not the only person to report this. If you want to take the risk of working with them, I actually wouldn't advise it, but you never know, you might be one of the lucky ones. I feel sorry for the rest. To tell you the truth, I feel sorry for anyone who works with them. It's just that they may treat a few the right way to put up a front.
Cons
Turned out to be a very dishonest and corrupt company. Shockingly immature management style when it comes to resolving conflict, just no skills at all. I reported receiving threats and harassment from callers (sexual harassment, threats against my life, bizarre, time-wasting calls) and management basically disappeared on me and locked me out of the system. They did not follow up on the threats I was receiving when they could have, as they are aware of who all of the callers are. I was threatened and harassed for months and they did nothing after I reported it to them, several times. So did they receive money from people to be able to call and harass me, or are there certain, shall we say, "insiders"? They blamed me and ended my contract after not following up whatsoever with what I had reported to them. Who exactly are they working with, I think is a good question to ask. Advisors are basically exploited across the board as the company literally takes more than half of your pay. What a shameful legacy they have created. Karma will come for them, if it hasn't already. There's a reason they don't show their faces consistently. They give all remote work a bad name, as it exposes how corrupt and dangerous these online companies can be.
