Pros

Working at PLP has been a joy - the organisation does impactful and fulfilling work and has a warm and friendly culture. PLP was my first permanent job and I massively appreciated the support of management and the whole organisation for my personal development. Working at PLP has made me a much more confident person!

Cons

Working in the charity sector can be tough, as there will always be people you aren't able to help, and funding challenges limit the work you can do.

Pros

PLP is a fantastic place to work with a really excellent team culture where everyone feels equal and included. The staff are very high quality and very caring, and make enormous sacrifices to work in the charity sector in order to help improve the lives of the disadvantaged. HR work very hard to put on frequent team events to bring everyone together and build a cohesive team.

Cons

Senior management could be better quality, not great leadership.

Pros

Staff members who act with real integrity and expertise at all times, different teams punching above their weight in terms of impact, fantastic welfare initiatives and lovely office environment, everybody genuinely invested in making the world a better place.

Cons

Only one annual promotion period, which can leave staff frustrated if they're stepping up e.g. to fill in for absences during the rest of the year.
