Pros

Work from home benefits, health insurance, co workers

Cons

When I started working here the company culture was amazing. Team leaders were professional, accommodating and very good at their jobs. The Irish management team were all very helpful and understanding. The work was at times monotonous but was generally a great starter job, the training was good with lots of opportunities to learn even if opportunities for career progression was limited. Then, things began to shift, there was interference from higher management which led to increased stress, the undermining of very talented employees and a decrease in communication. Volume of work increased and the decisions of US management threw analysts under the bus with promises made to clients that could not be kept. US Management had no intention of taking any accountability, and did not understand the limitations of the service the company was offering. This lead to a decrease in quality. Targets were placed above good processes and fair treatment of employees. The writing was on the wall with the implementation of AI and moving many client accounts to India, so I left the company. Many Irish employees have since been made redundant and the loss of knowledge, talent and genuine care will be a disaster for this company

Pros

- Supportive management - Customer-centric focus - For certain roles, remote work options - Truly a career opportunity, not just a job - there are people who have been here for 10-15 years and still enjoy it

Cons

- It's not a quick climb up for promotions, but (at least for my department), there's a clear measurement framework of what to aim for in order to achieve them.

Pros

Exciting and dynamic work with incredible clients. Wonderful exposure. Friendly peers. Pretty good employee benefits

Cons

Almost everyone I've spoken with at PublicRelay has shared, UNPROMPTED, that they are actively looking for new employment. This includes critical teammates across management, client success, analytics, and operations teams. Huge dip in product quality since the new AI-oriented CEO joined. Insights are no longer actually human-advised. Much work is totally AI generated by someone who's not an SME, and it shows, There are major recurring issues with validity, accessibility, and aesthetics that have been brought to the CEO and ignored, and continue to be sent out to clients. All work that can be is being outsourced to India, including data analysis, QA, and media insights reporting. Great team, but people there report working online long into the morning in inhumane conditions. Multiple long-term clients are expressing concerns with the high employee turnover, reduced quality of insights, and the inability of PublicRelay to adapt to changes in the media analytics space. I honestly believe they are no longer receiving the products they pay for, and that many clients would leave or demand a discount since they are no longer receiving the "human expertise" and relationships that PublicRelay claims sets them apart.
