Pros
For full timers, great benefits. Part timers get an hour of PTO every 80 worked hours. Usually a positive work environment, but it depends on the store. Have to work your way up, you can't just get nepo-babied into management.
Cons
Despite how all managers start out like anyone else, the work is hard and the way they treat you shows for it. I have had some nasty managers in my experience. I have also had some great ones. Part timers either get over worked (but never enough for overtime) or never get any hours. Expect your schedule to be extremely inconsistent if you are lucky enough to have a regular schedule. If they like you and you are a good worker, you will get more hours but your schedule will be all over the place and do not be surprised if you get close-opens.
