Pros
Punchcut is an incredibly talented creative design agency. The folks who work there are immensely intelligent, driven, and one-of-a-kind personalities. While working mostly for this company during the pandemic (I was hired in late 2019) and getting to know folks through online communications, I can say that management made a huge effort to connect all of the employees with activities and games that brought us together even though we were physically apart. Punchcut does a good job of making the employees feel included, whether we were physically in the office or if we were on a video call. Professional with each other in the workplace and with their clients, Punchcut doesn't tolerate poor or inappropriate behavior. When I briefly worked in the office, it felt like joining a family - we'd eat together at a long table in the middle of the office, and we'd accompany each other for coffee runs. When we were forced to move to remote work, we would still have group lunches via video chat. I had an amazing experience working for this company, and miss the critical thinking and in-depth conversations with the friendly Punchcut folks. I'd like to add that during my tenure at Punchcut, my father passed away, and I'll never forget the outpouring of support from this company. Folks were so kind and supportive, the company sent flowers, it was incredible. I sometimes believe that it was my destiny to work with this company during this exact moment of my life. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity, and I only moved on to a new company in order to switch my field to entertainment-focused work. Otherwise I'd still be at Punchcut, as I foresee they will be successful for many years to come.
Cons
There aren't any glaring cons when it comes to Punchcut. You really have to be willing to work hard at this company. You will not be able to get by with doing the bare minimum. Additionally, if you're working in a Project Management role, be prepared to wear a few hats. You'll handle financials, communications, some deck building. It will provide you with growth, but it won't be the easiest job you've ever had (if you're looking for easy, look elsewhere).
