      Good development opportunities Good marketing infrastructure Good PT model Good recognition of company performance Regional managers (or ones I’ve worked with) very hands on and focused on getting the best from teams

      Poor basic salary High level of pressure AGM does same job as GM, should look at more differentiation between the 2 roles or increase AGM wage to reflect workloads

      Pros

      The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

      Cons

      Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
