Pros

Good product and nothing else.

Cons

Micromanagement, no structure, put you down constantly and don’t understand that employees need a work life balance. First thing to be told on my first day “you’ll only do well here if you work long hours”. Was belittled in a team meeting for following instructions, they don’t know how to value or manage staff. Uneducated about complex sales processes, was told “you shouldn’t have more than more than 1 follow up to close a deal”. Toxic work environment, people are not willing to help each other. AVOID at all costs! Not worth leaving your job to work for a company like Purlos.

Pros

At Purlos you have the ability to change departments fairly quickly or figure out your strengths and develop a role yourself suitable for that. I have started as OPs manager only to identify my strengths within account management. You will be given a lot of trust and responsibility which helped me develop out my core skills. We also had team bonding activities which were always a great laugh and fun! With Purlos being a start up, you have to understand that things can be hectic and disorganised at some points, however this is where your personal adaptability and flexibility has to step in. If you’re only used to working under someone’s guidance and telling you what to do step for step, this is the wrong place for you. However if you have an adaptable mind and you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves this is a great place to work. You can project manage your own projects and have a great team to work with. Lastly David and Mo always took their time to listen to my advise or guidance and that is a great quality to have. When private issues occurred they remained supportive and professional at all times.

Cons

As it is a start up, the team is not fully built yet and at times you might find yourself doing additional projects where time management is very important in order to handle all tasks and stay on top of things.
