Pros

It says I have to enter at least 5 words for pros so, that's that.

Cons

*Forget about the poor Account Development Reps (they are doomed making 40k a year with no support in the office at 5am) this review is for the Account Executives.* In 6 months, leadership was on one of my calls. Ultimately, they were literally non existent and couldn't even do the demo we were required to do for customers. There are ZERO women on the the inside OR outside sales teams. There are zero African Americans in the company, let alone the sales team. This is a company, who focuses on the "high church" transparently. You will hear from sales people and leadership "we dont sell to black or latin churches, because they are unreliable." This is a company led by very young and inexperienced leadership, a place where friends take care of friends. This is a company where less than 10% of the sales team makes quota and no one get put on plan or anything, because its expected. This is a company where you will compete with reps who have states like NY+NJ+CT and you will get "delaware", while being expected to compete with them.... This is a company that will have you take sales calls for other reps because your territory is so bad and theirs is so fertile. ( you don't get paid on making other reps money in case you were wondering.) This is a "Christian" company that fired 1/3 of its sales team AND a manager, on GOOD FRIDAY! And provided the narrative that this was to ensure the remaining sales reps had enough leads to hit their number...the result? Nothing changed, most reps still never even hit 50%...instead, everyone just feared losing their jobs. This is a failing company, one of the CEOs left recently and they have NO CLUE what their competition is doing. This is a company that does people Really, really wrong...then hides behind religion as a shield. They claim to have a mission of engaging the youth, of "modernizing" the church...but this is just another failed attempt at blending capitalism and Christianity...these are the snake oil pastors of 2018, in SAAS/Mobile app form. These people, just want to make their investors happy. They don't care about the Church and they 100% don't care about their employees. (that is, unless they are buddies from New Life Hillsong or elevation..or you are from New Zealand.) In closing... I didn't write this review for a long time because I didn't want to effect the "good" people who work there, but then it hit me. There is no one good who works there, because everyone knows what is going on... but no one does or says ANYTHING.

As a general stance, we do not comment on specifics of Glassdoor reviews. In this case, though, I will as there's several statements that are not true about our business or culture. I will speak to only a few of them as we take accusations of our staff and customers seriously. Even though we're not a public company in the US yet, we proactively initiated diversity and inclusion actions into our interview process, management training, and culture as we believe it's the right thing to do to ensure people are treated fairly. There was a statement in the review that we have no women leaders, when in fact in our executive leader positions alone (Director+ leaders) we have 10 who are women. We do acknowledge we don't have the diversity we'd like in our executive roles, and we're confident this will improve through internal promotions and hiring. While none of the stats listed about the Sales team are accurate, there are elements of truth in them which I believe is what the reviewer was striving to communicate. We're a growth oriented company, so while we're proud of our growth and excited about the future, our journey has bumps. We're a learning culture so we've adapted well. Since some changes based on staff feedback we have consistently hit our targets, including recently having our best quarter ever. With great sales staff, phenomenal product, and a healthy balance of sales leaders who have been both promoted at Pushpay and external leaders hired in from other well-known companies. With great people and product, we are confident about our future. Being in the top 0.1% of all new companies in terms of growth tends to expose a lot of areas for improvement. We've consistently demonstrated we listen and act on staff feedback, and we will continue to do so as part of our continuous feedback culture. What we're doing at Pushpay is hard. We make it consistently clear that we are both an outcomes-driven company and we serve churches. This combination of serving ministries and striving for world-class in the marketplace can be a difficult tension to operate in. We have incredibly genuine people throughout the company, and it's one of our hopes that they are able to do the most impactful work of their career while at Pushpay. We wish you the best in your next. Yourself and others reading are welcome to reach out to me directly at weston.belkot@pushpay.com.

Pros

Individual coworkers are amazing. People believe deeply in the mission of the company and work hard.

Cons

Compensation is not where it should be considering the office locations and lack of remote work options. Hiring and promotion is very political. Processes are extremely inefficient, so "running lean" just becomes "overworked and underpaid", especially with current roles not being backfilled when people leave.
