Pros

Smart employees and that work hard and are qualifed to do their jobs.

Cons

If you judge a person or company based on how they handle crises, then you better avoid this company. Based on how Q2 Impact is facing the cuts in foreign aid, it is unethical, disingenuous, and inauthentic. The ways in which it fired, furloughed, and ghosted its staff has been shocking, chaotic, and reactive. Claiming they are strategic, they rapidly rebranded by wiping clean of any sense or purpose in their work. The company does not stand for anything but a vague mission with empty promises. This gets to me to the lack of loyalty and preference for image rather than authentic brand and company. In addition to revamping their logo, a questionable cost given the hardships they are incurring, they posted at least four positions recently, when any one of them could have been positions for furloughed staff. They have made every step difficult for furloughed staff, from not paying back pay, to going back and forth on employment decisions and definitions. Lies. The CEO/founder is inauthentic as well. They portray using evidence-based data for everything, when in reality its a poor attempt to seem cutting edge and lacks real evidence of impact. My boss changed two times within 5 months, and I had a lack of direction and a vague job description. Notably, this was all before the curent crisis. They reorganized the "org" chart at least 5 times since November 2025. Not trustworthy. The lack of transparency behind finances and financial decisions is worrisome, particularly given the amount of money they owe me and many others in back pay. Q2 is furiously trying to cover themselves while exposing more questionable behavior. I will be surprised if this company does not go bankrupt or at least sued soon. From what we do know, the company is run unethically, and I cannot speak for what we have been lied to about either, as there seems to be a new story of a sketchy financial decision every other day. For future employees, I would not waste my time or efforts at this company, an LLC devoted to its CEO's image and attempts at networking.

Pros

Lots of autonomy in your roles. Experienced people who have many years in gov affairs.

Cons

Start-up vibe. Could be a pro or a con. Difficult gov environment led to difficult company environment as you'd imagine. Hope they pull through.
