The Cons are the typical "cons" you would find at any Start up - Management are dishonest, and lack any morality to speak of. - The belief that Software and Systems Engineering are both in fact disciplines of ENGINEERING and to be done right the first time, knowledge and adherence to industry accepted best Engineering Practices is a must if you actually want to get things done and done right. - Management often bullies, and scape goats it's employees - Management often lies to their contractors and only pays them when the contractors refuse to be gaslit about not being paid - Management lies to their employees, and has a habit of laying off swaths of their rank and file who actually are the ones doing all the work while hiring useless layers of management.
