Open and honest environment. No candy coating....."it's a startup and we need everyone working at full effort" was how I was recruited. Expect an unvarnished feedback loop. If you can handle it, it is a thrilling pace. Ideas bubble up and it's satisfying to see how one's contributions might make it onto a slide to present to advisory boards or even make its way into a prospect pitch. NO WOKENESS!

A startup is not for everyone. There are many course corrections. There's not a lot of time to obsess over feelings.
