QD is still a small agency (albeit a growing one!) and does experience the growing pains of such. There is certainly less structure than a larger corporate organization, but this also provides opportunity to jump in and learn new things as well as be part of the creation of new structure and processes.

The executive leadership talks a good game about inclusivity and employee empowerment, these are lies.

The executive leadership (owner & president) are woefully out of touch with the inner workings of the organization. I spent many hours listening to the president of the company complain about the employees, workstreams, and deliverables while making no attempt to change his behavior (culture is top-down). I specifically brought my concerns to the COO and was subsequently let go from my position. This is retaliation!!!
