Pros
Cant think of any as of now.. Because.. "Juz Bcoz".. even the evening snacks fail to cheer you up!
Cons
Hmm.. Where to start.. 1. Bad infrastructure.. This company has money to waste on boring events but to provide necessities to their employees. 2. No career planning/progression for employees.. Even senior management is clueless about their role/growth within the organisation 3. Poor support functions.. Employees in support functions are more interested in gossips. They should rather focus on understanding the needs of the employees and their grievances 4. Leadership.. No matter how good and experienced the founder of the organisation are, they fail to understand that to clean the house, they must make their hands dirty (This does not only mean firing people) 5. Appraisal process.. No matter how hard you have worked, how good you have performed, how much dedication and loyalty you have shown towards the company, ultimately the only thing that matters is how good your rapport is with “few people” in the company or how good you are at pulling the right strings 6. Employee engagement activities.. please have the courtesy to ask the employees whether they are actually enjoying these activities or not.. This is simply a waste of time, money, efforts and ruins the weekend 7. Work culture.. Such young and talented people in the organisation but poor senior management/leadership. None of the senior person is technically sound and they are one who judge your performances at the end of the year. This is resulting in no career growth/progression of the employees, leaving them clueless about it. 1 month training for freshers and then leaving them high and dry wont work 8. Hire and Fire Policy.. this is one policy that this company follows with all their dedication. one mistake you do.. and perceptions are made.. They don’t give you time to understand the existing processes and policies, expect you to be productive from Day 1 without any training, insecure leaders make the environment more difficult to survive and then without any warning, you are fired!! 9. HR has no connect with the employees. Only engaging on a saturday, once in a month, for events that add no value to us, doesnt work. They fail to understand the role of HR within the company and focus only on gossips, firing strategies and demotivating the employees 10. Lastly, one has to choose this medium of communication, because no matter how much you point it out, it always falls on deaf ears. They take Glassdoor reviews more seriously then actual face to face discussions. P.S : Sorry for any grammatical mistakes, because that’s what you are going to focus on ultimately
