- Everyone is burned out and management hosts a session with our EAP provider about learning how to deal with the reality vs. actually resolving the root of the issue. Everyone overworks, more than before, because of the pressures from the new CEO. Work-life balance isn't there anymore because we're just focused on immense growth (50% YOY) now. Line managers don't understand burnout and just blame the employees rather than helping. People are leaving in droves because of the line managers' lack of support. - It seems like we get new direction from global and BCG teams all the time with no forewarning, discussion or alternatives. - Performance metrics are very unclear and change all the time. - No global or branch retreats anymore, only small team retreats, so limited opportunities to meet others in the company when most work remotely.
