The most amazing thing I remember about QueensCare was the genuine support I received from Cristina Sandoval and all the QHFP staff (Sharon, MaryAnne, nurses, Chw's) who supported my journey in Social Work. Cristina is a great clinical supervisor that prepared me for my clinical exam. The Mental Health Department also had a healthy balanced caseload that also prepares you for DMH documentation.

Perhaps more exposure of the wonderful work that the mental health department does for patients.

I have been with QueensCare for a little over a year, and I can honestly say it has been one of the most professional experiences in my career. I am a part of the most diverse and compassionate group of professionals who value and support one another. How many people can say they have nuns as colleagues? It is such an added inspiration as they exude love and compassion, which has been carried on since the founding of the organization by the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart in 1897. I am most pleased with the way my supervisors and colleagues value and respect my work. I feel like I am honestly making a difference and leaving my mark to fulfill our mission. The COVID-19 pandemic has solidified our values as a faith-based organization and makes me very proud to work for an organization that values its employees and supports the community directly. In the face of all this loss, QueensCare has managed to secure hazard pay for our front-line health heroes, which is incredible!

I wish more people knew about us and the incredible work we do in the community, not just through direct programming, but through charitable giving as well.
