Pros
Quest has a lot of potential to be a truly great company. The products are excellent and have a high satisfaction rate with customers.
Cons
Being a "newer" company really shows here. They've been around for 4 years now but still have not implemented company wide procedures in many areas of business. When there are procedures created they are not communicated thoroughly to all involved and even then there is no consequence for not following said procedures making the jobs of some of us insanely painstaking and sometimes impossible. There is no pay scale, etc. Your salary with Quest depends on what location you work at and who your manager is and has no direct relationship with how difficult your job is or how hard you work. There is nothing to be said for experience or seniority here. Managers are not accountable on a company-wide level. If you have an issue you report them to HR but, being that they've had no supervisor or manager training programs or seminars to enroll in, you almost feel like it's really Quest's fault and not the individual. Some of us cannot even get the proper equipment to do our jobs. This is a frequent issue in my department. An example is the printers. We only have access to a few small printers that we all share. These printers are not for high volume use and should not be in our office at all. We should be using large, industrial printers. It's not like Quest cannot afford the supplies and equipment we need. Yet when we tell our managers we need more ink for the printers we are told that we cannot order more currently because we need to save money. Same goes for other necessary supplies and equipment.
