Questrade has the mindset of a startup but with the revenue of an established firm. The company takes customer service extremely seriously and as an employee you must be cognizant of the user experience wether you are in client services or in technology. Very open door policy throughout the organization and allows you to find mentors amongst senior folks in the firm. Tons of growth opportunity if you network and are continuously able to demonstrate a high level of quality. Invested in employees personal development. Company has an educational allowance that a lot of employees take advantage of. I have worked in other places where they proclaim to have a work/life balance. This company actually means it!
Cons
Not the ideal place for growth if you are introverted. Growth at this firm requires you to network and meet individuals from all parts of the business. Sometimes it is difficult to get management buy in when you have a positive idea but the idea does not directly contribute to the bottom line.
