Pros
Simple work that doesn't require much thought--maybe decent memory if anything.
Cons
I have never worked at such a volatile and unappreciative place. The amount of change, stress and trash rolling down hill in that company is ridiculous. The managers treat their employees like cattle, not caring what it does to them. The people who could care less about their job are enabled and babied. The people who work hard to prove themselves? They push and push and push until you break and walk out or give up and they fire you. Secondly is the wage issue. I know part of that issue is due to the minimum wage increases in Denver, but that doesn't excuse it. First I was promised a raise and three months later had never received one. Then I was promoted to get the same raise I was promised in my current position. Then I was pushed back into my original position two months later. At the end of 14 months I had received $5 in raises, $4.50 of which was for promotions and my yearly review, and yet I made less then a dollar over some of the base level employees I was supervising?! Not to mention that during that 14 months, my schedule changed NINE times! Two weeks ago my manager watched me set up the entire floor, then came and told me that she told my trainee she wanted it done differently today. Why would you tell the trainee and not the trainer? I was pretty much done with the place and told her nah, I'm not setting it all up again. She got snide so I told her I could just go home. After another snide response I said "Cool, well write me up if you need to. I'm going home." Our policies explicitly state that leaving early is a 1 point infraction (of 13 you can get before being terminated). I had very few points. yet my accounts were disabled in an hour. When I managed to get in contact with HR I was told I quit. I rejected that notion and they sent me a letter that literally says "Certain major infractions can result in termination on the first instance", followed by "You were insubordinate, disrespectful, and used profanity with your superior", followed by "Consequently, and by your own actions, you left US WITH NO CHOICE, to maintain your voluntary resignation." So.. I was insubordinate and therefor YOU DECIDED that I quit? I'm not sure it works that way. Furthermore, multiple managers talk down, curse at, and belittle their employees with no action being taken against them. One went so far as to cuss out her entire staff and say "I'll ******* fire every last one of you!" without ever giving a reason as to why or what was being done wrong. Multiple employees quit and transferred that week. I would not recommend working for this company unless it is through a temp agency where you have control over whether you go there on any given day. They honestly treat the temp employees better then anyone there.
