Pros
Weekly pay. That’s kind of it… The good coworkers that I met while I was there, and a lot of kind regulars, that I got to know along the way.
Cons
No employee break room. No employee fridge. No employee bathroom. You must dedicate your entire shift to serving customers who could literally mentally abuse you every day and be labeled the problem if you are not a subservient spineless person. Have to pay for your coffee at a place that makes it all day and refuses to allow you to use any cup other than their own if it has a noticeable brand label. Must carry around a receipt with every single thing you purchase to not be accused of stealing if the infamous QC security pops up. A lot of other weird idiosyncratic protocols that they follow… including backwards old school ideals of never letting employees sitting down unless on break because heaven forbid your back or feet hurt like a normal human. The amount of time and work you put into this job is NOT worth the bs pay. I would say this for all positions within the retail stores.
