significant cultural limitations & poor direction from management and execs - Engineer QuickNode Employee Review

the execs were clearly very directionless and did not know how to communicate strategy downward, leaving a high level of responsibility on IC's to execute on the right things without knowing anything about what the right things might be. the result was constant chaos where projects never got finished because the rug would routinely be pulled out at the ~70% completion mark, leaving IC's without successful efforts, and therefore without any clues as to how to be successful themselves. I also believe that if the company made a better effort to hire more than one type of person, some of these interpersonal challenges would be less commonplace.
