Pros

The people I worked with in the department I was in were great colleagues. We were also given decent equipment which did come at great expense to the company.

Cons

Over my time there I felt like the view of the department I was in by the upper management at the main office deteriorated, and went from a quality first to quantity first approach, without much care for the employees or the customers to an extent. Additionally I personally felt at times the safety of our work was in question. They started to make changes to the way we worked day-to-day, which made our work significantly more difficult and stressful. Myself as well as my colleagues did voice our concerns, but not much was done in response to these. Additionally, we often needed technical support with some new technology we was working with, however the support team in place weren't able to help as much as they would like to, as they were often overloaded with requests for help. The team who scheduled in our work were also under immense pressure at times, I truly wish they are all good and well. A lack of help along with increased work load and our location of work varying day to day meant that we regularly had unpredictable work hours, which especially had an effect on my co-workers who had families. We regularly had to work well past our regular finishing time and often work could be dropped on us with virtually zero notice. I personally felt like the money could have been better, and more in-line with another department carrying out similar tasks to what we were doing. Communication between the company departments and also the customers were often poor too, and work at times was scheduled in for customers without them being informed of the visit, the sort of work we would be doing, or both. We did voice our concerns to our leaders in the department, and overall they were great. The issue lies with the people beyond that, at the top of the company. Its been a while since I left the company and sincerely hope its improved for the guys there. A fairly large number of staff I worked with moved to other roles or left completely, I am not alone with these criticisms. I will never return to the company as an employee, nor as a customer.
