Pros
It's a purposeful topic of work.
Cons
Qvin aka Qurasense — They treat their employees as disposable. They will come across as very accommodating, but their way of managing is cutthroat. They pivot often, the founders disagree on a lot and will give you different directives, making things confusing (even on issues like what your job description is, what work they need you to do). I completed several assignments for a position they were hiring for, and four interviews, and was then given the job. They then hesitated to send me the full time contract, all the while telling me it was finalized and we were just waiting on the paperwork. They then pivoted and decided to fire me after 2 months (after I had left my other position). After deciding to pivot, they essentially stopped answering my emails, and gave me mixed messages for days about being unsure if they would be continuing to need the role I was in. They offered no severance or support, despite giving be extremely positive feedback about my work. They've registered their business in Delaware despite being in the Bay Area, because their are fewer employee protections.
