Pros
One of the best reasons is the people. I think most of us have a common goal and see the light at the end of the tunnel. As a joint venture, you have to go through many challenges and obstacles and for those who love to take initiative and get rewarded will strive. I think many of the negative reviews stems from people not understanding how a joint venture works and may need an easier job that does a basic routine no effort minimum to get by. It's a lot of work and you sometimes do more than your job responsibilities but the company loves to promote and grow the team from within (not just favorites which is very Untrue). The support here is great and the leadership is transparent. Again, there are always struggles and challenges and not everything can be perfect during an integration as with any company. Some people take extra responsibility as a learning tool to grow while others choose to complain. The benefits have gotten better and as a growing company will continue to get better. I think many of the negative reviews seem to be from those who didn't understand what they were getting into and didn't want a challenge, and/or seem disgruntled. A new business has changes in the organization and any layoffs were communicated months before hand and many jobs were made available for qualified people and transfers were done. Overall, it's a great place to work and were constantly getting better.
Cons
We have a lack of training in some areas and system integrations are rough but it's getting better. In just a short time, mostly everything has improved.
