I started in a role and remained in that exact role for three years with zero indication of progression—there were no training programs beyond initial onboarding, no structured path to advancement, no mentorship or investment in developing anyone's skills. My coworkers and I were all just staying put. Every quarter looked like the last one, and it became clear pretty quickly that this wasn't a place that cared about building people up.
