Pros

The people you work with are great. I made several lasting friendships with the people I worked with. The concept of the business (a marketing source for commercial real estate firms) is a great idea. Resume/work experience. First-hand experience on how NOT to run a business. Free kolaches from time to time.

Cons

As most of you could deduce, the below review is complete garbage. I helped hire the person who wrote the review below when I left, and they are no longer with the company (per the latest issue of REDNews Magazine). The first two or three months you work here will be the "Honeymoon" phase: she (the owner) will love you and you can do no wrong. After that, nothing you do will ever be good enough and any mistake could potentially cost you your job. Once she decides she doesn't like you (99.9% of the time, it has nothing to do with your work productivity, it's just a sociopathic trait she possesses), then you need to start applying to other jobs, as she will attempt to break you to the point that you quit or eventually will fire you. Every 6 months to a year, there will be completely new staff for REDNews and The Red Vault (in the same office, same story with that company, too), outside of the owner and accountant. People are either (unjustly) fired or quit for better opportunities. Look at the staff directory from their latest issue on their website, and compare it to previous months and recent years, and you'll see the ridiculous amount of turnover within the company. The people that are constant don't actually work in the office and are relatives of the owner. You are technically a 1099 contract employee despite being salaried, but will work a normal 9-5 schedule like a W2 employee. You will work overtime and some holidays, but you will not get any compensation for it (well, maybe she'll buy kolaches for breakfast one day), nor will you get actual vacation days. If you decide to take a few days off, you have to come in early or stay late to make up the hours, or your already small paycheck (which she doesn't take taxes out, because you're a 1099 contractor) will be even smaller. Since you're technically a 1099 contract employee, it also means no benefits. You will be micro-managed in every way possible, with daily check-in meetings, weekly staff meetings and constant badgering on the status of projects. It doesn't matter if you're building a new website by yourself; she expects it to be done perfectly the first time in an absolutely unrealistic amount of time. Please do not apply for employment here unless it's a stop-gap job or your only other alternative is to rob a bank.
