Pros

Great pay and benefits for an unstable startup! They offer great benefits, flying first class, lots of free food all due to the wonderful investors. Great mission to treat with gene therapy.

Cons

Employees are expected to work to exhaustion such as while on vacation, respond to emails 24/7. The turnover is horrible from VP to entry level. People leave when they cannot handle the stress any longer or all the sudden the chair is empty with no explanation.

I may be biased because I work here, but I can honestly say that REGENXBIO is one of the best biotech companies in the DMV area. The science is exciting, the mission is meaningful, and the people are exceptional. I’ve had the privilege of working with talented, supportive colleagues who are passionate about advancing gene therapies for patients. Great science, great culture, and great people. What we do, matters!
