They are a small and nimble in the Canadian market, and often punch above their weight. Huuuge pipeline of projects from coast to coast = plenty of opportunities to make your mark.
Cons
Management often chases too many opportunities and stretches their staff a bit thin.
Management tends to pivot their employees scope of work too often, which is probably a symptom of chasing too many opportunties and being understaffed.

We really appreciate your feedback. Canada is an important market for RES with a lot of growth potential. We’ll pass your feedback about the workload on to our leadership team.
Everyone I work with at RES is high caliber. People are intelligent, good communicators and are pleasant to work with. Management is clear on expectations from staff. RES has the resources to outsource help for any pain points, which is great and leads to faster resolution. The company has already been around for 50 years so it is stable and feels safe to invest your time and energy into.
Cons
Career progression is stunted because people are happy here and stay long term, which means elevated positions are harder to come by.
