Pros
The culture element of the industry can make job interesting; some passionate and talented colleagues; done some very interesting projects.
Cons
The institution feels outdated, with a hierarchical, male-dominated work environment and a lot of internal politics. Its business model is equally puzzling—there’s little focus on ROI, and business case approvals seem to hinge more on personal relationships with senior management than on merit. What’s most concerning, though, is how some managers treat staff (abusive)—it's appalling, and HR doesn't offer much support. It feels like the organisation survives on its name and heritage but how long will it last?
