Pros

Charismatic CEO and a few people who really try to create an engaging remote culture.

Cons

Looks can be deceiving: behind the CEO's charisma and vision lies a chaotic and listless operation. The CEO is 100% focused on sales and therefore disconnected to the actual operations and sustainability of the agency. This leaves agency employees feeling burned out, exhausted, and unable to execute on the promises that the CEO makes when bringing in new clients. Lack of proper onboarding and training makes this problem even worse, since experienced talent is always leaving for the door as new hires come in. This dynamic creates a churn factory: employees frequently leaving and clients constantly giving their 90 day notices because they're not getting the service that they were promised., either because teams are burnt out and over-worked OR internal chaos and politics prevents the work from happening in the first place. With 100% focus on sales, there isn't much thought to adequately resourcing teams and clients for success. With little to no direction from the top, a blame culture emeges. people who surface issues are blamed instead of execs realizing their own inadequacies and doing something about it. blame and exhaustion creates toxicity. At ROI DNA, the word for "accountability" is "throat to choke." That phrase is used constantly by executives on down. As a survivor of abuse, words like that amidst a toxic culture made me cry every day after work. Yes, HR was notified multiple times, yet didn't do anything or care. Getting laid off was a happy day for me. I feel so much better now that I don't work here.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We will take all your feedback to heart and see where improvements can be made across the organization. Please know that our top priorities are our team and our clients, and we’re disappointed that you didn’t feel that was the case. To speak to the accountability piece, if someone isn't accountable, it puts both our team and our clients at risk. Accountability for us means taking ownership of what happens as a result of choices and actions, so this can mean QAing work or ensuring that you log off to spend time with your family. We want our employees to have individual autonomy and accountability, as we believe that helps them achieve their own goals as well as collaborate with us on our agency goals. Our workweek target is 45 hours a week to ensure that burnout doesn’t happen, and the vast majority of our employees are under that. It has been a tough year economically for many businesses, so our goal is to put our best foot forward with our amazing team and to help our clients get through these difficult times. Again, we appreciate your feedback, and please feel free to reach out to me directly at ashley@roidna.com if you’d like to speak further. I guarantee you that we do care, and we wish you nothing but the best.

Pros

- Agency Fridays - Work Culture - No A-holes - New Ideas are actually listened to - The whole CS team top to bottom are great people!

Cons

- Typical agency timelines and deadlines - No PM team - Sometimes either an early morning or later afternoon is required due to timezone meeting overlaps (depending if you're PST or EST)

Pros

A great culture adapted to a fully remote company. Client focused at all times, with a team approach to each client

Cons

If the clients reduce contracts because of economic downturns, then layoffs happen - and it's not hard to see that coming.
