Pros
Impressive history and achievements. You'll be able to work on a broad variety of projects with talented staff. The culture is unique, and the president knows you by your first name. There's an emphasis on education with a great tuition reimbursement program - take advantage of it. Good 401K match. Headquarters has a gym, cafeteria, parking.
Cons
Most will have limited upward mobility. There seems to be a general lack of business acumen. If you're junior and you need a lot of hand holding, seek employment elsewhere. This is a sink or swim environment. The biggest negative is the parent company's continued forced influence: health insurance costs have risen; a barrage of never ending mandated training requirements; bureaucratic tape with any exception to a plethora of rules; the unique culture is eroding.
