Pros

This is one of the best teams to work with in Austin. Smart, dedicated and hard-working teammates that know how to have a good time in the process. The culture is one of the best parts of Rabbet. We meet weekly to share gratitude and talk about our learning lessons (Unicorns and Poops). The team in general is curious about how to make life better for our clients and prospective clients. Growing fast, but not too fast! Still giving out equity for new hires, and the growth has been strong Q over Q.

Cons

It's a startup environment, which can mean wearing more hats than just the one you were hired for from time to time. Very budget conscious (this is a pro and a con I suppose) Still finding product/market fit in some customer segments - can be difficult at times

Pros

There is lots of opportunity to accelerate your career at Rabbet.

Cons

There is a big learning curve to understanding the commercial real estate market. The company helps with learning it, but you'll have to be proactive as well.

Pros

There is a ton of autonomy here, and they really take to heart the startup mentality of constant iteration and learning quickly. The team is purposefully lean because each team member is the best at what they do and this is the first place I've worked where I can confidently say we are greater than the sum of our parts. Most startups these days are just creative versions of the same mouse trap...and that's not what you get here. We are working to solve complex problems that haven't been solved yet in industry.

Cons

Occasionally work/life balance can trend towards the work side, but it is almost always directly tied to a business opportunity...and it's an early stage company so that shouldn't be a surprise if you apply to work here. It's not like we are working 100 hour weeks, but some times you'll need to chip in and burn the midnight oil to accomplish the goal at hand. On the flip side, if you are super efficient and get it done in 30 hours, that's great too.
