As an engineer I work closely with product, design, as well as senior engineers above myself. My workload consists of many many different tasks, as we're such a small engineering team. One day I'll be implementing a feature, and the next I'll be doing something completely different. I'm never overworked, never stressed out for meeting deadlines, and 99% of the time I'm home by dinner time. If I have a suggestion on why something should be done one way over another, It's always heard, and even implemented right away on occasion. It's great to know that all of my opinions are taken into consideration. As a team, we're always going out to lunch with each other, or poppin' champagne in the afternoon to celebrate something. I can honestly say that when I get into the office every morning and begin working, none of it actually feels like work, and I believe that's partly because of our working environment and culture; everyone on our team really enjoys what they do. I wouldn't want to be working anywhere else. PS. Red bulls, organic gummy bears, and anything else you could possibly want to snack on? That's what's up!
