Pros
It can be a fun environment! The tasks in the store will keep you busy. You will never be bored. It is an opportunity for a lot of customer interaction. Setting up the merchandise awards an employee to use their marketing and creative skills if this is the direction you want to go in.
Cons
Unfortunately the pay rate is very low. The managers I had did not do performance reviews like they were supposed to have monthly meetings like they were supposed to hear employee grievances or for employees to be acknowledge for their contributions. The District Manager I had was a very poor communicator. She was not a good listener or a good mediator.
