Pros

The only highlight of this job was meeting some very talented and hardworking co-workers.

Cons

This is not a true design job. You act more like a vendor than a real fashion company. You are the middle person who caters to other multiple, external brands. Therefore, it isn’t operated like a modern day fashion company who does true creative design. The management is the worst. They do not provide a good work mentality, support, and structure. There is no PLM process and designers do not do Adobe Illustrator sketches. Everything seems backwards with excel based tech packs with no actual BOM’s. There is no work/life balance. In addition, most people are secluded and each person works on one brand or a couple of brands by themselves. They mainly have assistant designers or rotating design interns to assist. There is no true team or middle level people. It’s a odd jump of higher up people who have been there for over 7+ years and then just rotating young designers/interns who get the grunt of the work and no real mentorship. It is not a good design ecosystem. Do not come here if you want to actually experience a real, modern day creative design job or if you want to learn/build your career. This is not a good place for that.
