Pros
Coworkers are the best, They usually buy everyone pizza before they fire people.
Cons
Management doesn’t listen to feedback from agents and are slow to adoption change. This job is not worth 100% of your effort. Many health and life insurance companies have terrible reviews, but imagine not receiving your paycheck on payday three times a year. This place is just a job. Do not go above and beyond, and do not stop applying to other companies once you’re working here. They will not pay to renew your licenses. If you don’t fit in with management, no matter how hard you work, you will not be promoted. The refrigerators stink, and the office manager makes no effort to clean them. Most managers are dismissive and make no effort to train staff or boost morale outside of OEP. The staff complains about the Indeed reviews, and the company offers incentives for positive ones, but negative themes persist. They mass hire and mass fire; if you need an accommodation, expect to be fired by January 16th. If you survive that, expect to be on the chopping block every three months. Do not work overtime; it won’t make you indispensable, and they will complain about paying it out even after requesting it. After termination, they may harass you with fake job offers and intimidating calls. Even if you’ve made no contact, they will try to reach out, which is toxic.
