Pros
I have been at Rayburn Tours for a little over 4 years now and without a doubt I love my job. A huge part of this is down to the people I work with and for, as well as the lovely working environment that we are provided with. We all work hard at Rayburn Tours, but it is not all work and no play for staff. Within individual teams and across the company as a whole we have socials, Friday treats, mid-week quizzes, lunches, team awards, celebrations and charity events. The office is always clean, tidy and a pleasant place to work in. When it comes to facilities we have everything we need to do our jobs as well as kitchen space with fridges, microwaves and toaster. All the tea, coffee, sugar and milk is provided by the company as well. The flexible bands for working hours is a great benefit too. It allows us all to work hours that suit our lifestyle and commitments each week. For people that have particular circumstances further flexibility has been organised and again there is flexibility for when staff have appointments etc. Having an hour for lunch is a definite plus too! Customer satisfaction is key at Rayburn Tours and we all strive to give all our clients 5 star service every single time - an ethos that comes from the top. Our customer feedback reflects this and we are all proud of our customer service ratings which continue to be high across all departments. We have grown as a company quite considerably over the last few years which has been great to see and it has allowed people within the company to progress internally. Personally, I have been very lucky to have been promoted within the company and have had some fantastic support from colleagues, managers and directors as my career at Rayburn Tours has developed. The directors’ open-door policy is great and they are always willing to listen, advise and offer support or a pep talk as needed for any member of staff. They are also receptive to feedback and open to suggestions for improvement. It is obvious that they care about their staff, customers and the business.
Cons
Due to the growth that we have seen in recent years the car park is getting very busy, but this means we are all getting better at parking to make the most of the space allotted to the company. Occasionally communication can be lacking across departments as we have been growing, but this has been improving with all departments and central functions making the effort to share information with each other.
