Pros

* The people are all very nice outside of upper management * Weekly Happy Hours

Cons

* THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO GET COMMISSIONS YOU EARNED!!!! Never saw a dime * There is a HUGE turn over rate because no one is happy. This has resulted in a drain of talent * Disillusioned management * The office is deplorable... Old, smelly, every day found another cockroach or mouse * No career path or upward potential. If they do increase your title, don't expect your pay to increase... at all * No work from home! Management is allowed to but no one else is (hypocritical?)

Thank you for your feedback, if you are still an employee I sincerely ask you to speak with someone here that can respond to your concerns and complaints. Much of what you mention could be addressed if we could get into more detail. I am very concerned that you say that it is impossible to get commissions you earned. I understand why you would be incredibly frustrated if you feel you are not able to achieve success. We have a clear commission agreement and pay eligible commissions every two weeks. Over the years our sales people have been very successful. Please speak to me about this so we can resolve your frustration. We do not have a formal work-from-home arrangement. It's something people ask for and we know it's a popular option, but it doesn't work for our company. This includes the leadership team or "upper management". However, we often make exceptions for people to work from home on occasion no matter their level. We are humans and understand that our employees have lives with car troubles, sick kids, or need to wait for the plumber to fix a pipe. It only requires you speaking to someone who can help you figure out a solution. As far as upper management goes, you don't have insight into an individual's specific arrangement so it's not fair to compare your situation to them. Let's talk in person about how we can make this a better place for you and everyone else. - Peter Boritz, CEO, RDM

Pros

I came across these negative reviews and had to say something because it is not all true! I'm offended because I work here and like my job and feel like it's a good choice for me. A lot of people here have worked here for over 5 years - some way more. People wouldn't stay here this long if it was such a horrible place to work! Is this place perfect? Not at all, but I see that everyone here tries to fix problems that come up. The vibe in the office is welcoming and fun. The company does a lot of fun activities for the staff - and most of the time it's during office hours and not mandatory. The work can be hard and stressful at times, but I don't see people working super late or on the weekends. There is extra compensation for when that does happen. Plus we have a ton of free snacks, coffee, tea, seltzer - keeping people fed is important! The work is interesting, I've gotten to see a lot of NYC architecture "behind the scenes".

Cons

The staffing seems a little uneven and too lean in some areas. I'd like to see the teams get bigger so the career growth is more visible. I have to agree that the office is dated. It's not dirty like someone suggested, but we have mis-matched furniture and it's pretty crowded. There has been some effort to get new furniture in some areas.

Thank you for your feedback! While the negative feedback seems to get the most attention because we strive to always do better, I am always happy to hear about the positives at Real Data Management. The camaraderie that you enjoy and the fun activities we provide are so important to our company culture. I agree that the staffing can seem uneven- in some places it truly is too lean and the leadership team feels the pressure to recruit and find good fits. We recently formed a small committee of employees to help bring in fresh ideas, but we're open to suggestions from anyone. Our office is getting a lot of heat on here! Ha. It's true that we don't have the sleekest office in Manhattan, but that could change someday in the not-too-distant future. For now we're trying to make the best of what we have without being frivolous. Thank you for your feedback, my door is always open for more conversation. - Peter Boritz, CEO, RDM
