1yWe’re glad you valued the flexibility and the team support at Realm. To clarify, performance expectations – including call targets – have always been part of our recruitment model. These reflect the realities of the recruitment industry and are communicated openly from the outset.
What sets us apart is that targets aren’t one-size-fits-all. Instead, we use individual performance data to set realistic, personalised goals that are aligned with each person’s success, recognising that this can look different for everyone.
We understand that recruitment can be a demanding and, at times, stressful job—particularly when performance dips. That’s why, as the market has become more challenging, we’ve focused on providing additional support and structure to help our team navigate those pressures. Many have grown and succeeded through this period as a result.
As we’ve grown from a micro business to an SME, cultural and structural changes have naturally followed. We’ve refreshed our values and built on what has always made Realm special. A lot of what we’re known for—like flexi working—was shaped by feedback from the team. Throughout this process, we’ve remained committed to consulting with our people. While we always listen, we recognise that it’s not always possible to meet every expectation.
