Pros

I've been working at RRFC for more than 5 years and have to say if you're a hard worker who is willing to go the distance, change with the times, and are forward thinking and trustworthy you can go far. You should also actually care about their programs and what they do since the work always pertains to helping other humans on the planet figure out their own paths, careerwise at least (duh). Management is pretty minimal here but super tapped into what's going on in the actual workplace. Some employees like that, others don't. Those who don't usually weed themselves out and quit after a few months. Drama laden people won't find enough drama-potential here either since there really is a lot of actual work to be done. If you have ideas on projects, improvements, etcetera, I've found the COO and top brass are always willing to listen but they'll also expect a full presentation and ideas that are fleshed out and expect you to be open to their input and willing to change your work accordingly. If you want to get props and be a "star" among your peers, probably not your place to work. You'll get a pat on the back and will maybe move up the ladder as you earn more trust but no ego-feeding here. Also, having a cool head and the ability to organize your own tasks and priortities is super important. Projects will get assigned then it will seem like the bosses have forgotten about them but then they'll check back seemingly out of the blue so no hand holding here.

Cons

Hours can be long, project scopes/project assignments can change quickly.
