Pros
On Wheelchair position - You meet new people everyday, and because it's a small airport, you will be pushing wheelchairs in, sometimes you can grow a relationship with certain people you transfer to the plane. You also can make alot of tips depending on how many wheelchairs there is coming off and going on, and by how well your attitude is towards the customers. Not in a kiss butt way but in a genuine way.
Cons
People sometimes thirst for money and grab another wheelchair for an extra tip before the day ends. It's only 4 girls on wheelchairs a day, so if it's 1 special going on and coming off, then only 2 girls will work that flight, the other 2 will stand all day or answer questions and help people with bags. They give tips too from being a porter but I haven't seen this happen in forever lol. Delays are also very bad, I've had a lot of special occasions planned, but had to cancel because the plane was delayed. Hours are bad, if a plane is cancelled at this airport, you don't get called in, sad but true. Fights and drama are the main things happening here if not delays, you can say "oh I won't get into that" this job is a boiling pot, if you don't start drama, then you hear about it, and just knowing that you heard it kills you too. Vacation time is silly, remember it's only 4 girls a day, so one or 2 others girls on another day will have to cover your week.
