Entry-level job experience for hospitality.

Cons

Close of business is when paid shift time ends. Anything after that is unpaid overtime because management expects you to have everything packed down while the kitchen is still in operation. Asthma sufferer hired for Cashier work. Still put me on as a Kitchen Hand instead. Once I was about to turn 19, management tried every excuse to scrutinise and pressure me to find grounds to fire me, simply because they didn't want to pay anyone a rate of a single cent more than they hired them on. Store Manager would arbitrarily swap the friers despite company policy being to keep seafood separate from other food items. Huge allergy / cross-contamination breach.
