Pros

It's a very casual environment in regards to dress code, etc.. Great benefits package which includes medical, dental, basic life,, etc... However, you do have to wait 90 days before you can take advantage and participate in the benefits package. You have the opportunity to win really nice prizes like gift certificates, iPADs, TV's, etc., which are based on your performance. In addition, there is an opportunity to make an acceptable and decent amount of money.

Cons

The downfall to Red Ventures is that there is an extremely high turnover ratio. There are many reasons for this... First of all, the work schedule is horrible... You will be forced to work nights, weekends, and holidays, which makes it very difficult to have a regular and active social life; its a nightmare if your a single parent. The environment seems to be very unstable and constantly changing in regards to QA (Quality Assurance) guidelines and other company policies. The Perfomance Managers are given an unreasonable amount of duties, which are very stressing. You also have to get permission to take bathroom breaks. And as a sales consultant, there's a ridiculous amount of cross-sells that need to be done on a call. If your verbiage and rebuttals are not exact to every word, it could cost you losing a tremendous amount of money from your paycheck and immediate termination no matter how professional and well you do your job. Finally, your pay is mainly based off of what level of priority calls you get. If you get high priority calls, you're going to make money. If you get low priority calls, you're not going to make any money at all. It's as simple as that.

Pros

Strong ownership, opportunity to manage people early, great people, nice campus. You will work on interesting problems and external companies. Great training if the space interests you.

Cons

Business future is uncertain, up or out management principles. New senior leaders somewhat disconnected from the day-to-day. Commute from Charlotte is horrible.
