- Ric is truly a great CEO. He is a transparent guy with a solid moral compass. He is a lifelong learner, and that has garnered him much success. - A lot of the people there are great to work with and get to know - Great opportunity for those getting into programming - Excellent hardware will be provided to those who ask - Beautiful campus, I enjoyed taking walks and working on the many balconies - Low cost of living in / around Fort Mill, SC - Company trip was a nice opportunity to see Cancun
Cons
- The people in leadership positions in the technology department have big egos, a lack of general respect, and not a lot of technical understanding. - Low pay for the industry, even considering the cost of living. - No process to speak of - not even pull requests or code reviews. Lack of planning or process leads to rewriting the same project 5 or more times for all product teams. - (along with the above) No real project owners/managers, QA, scrum masters
