- The CEO has no idea what he's doing.
- The financial state of things turns on a dime - one week 'things are looking good - it looks like we'll be able to hire a new X', and the next week 'this isn't sustainable. If our numbers don't improve by end of week, we'll need to lay 2 people off'
- Overtime is expected regularly
- Contributions are not recognized
- Leadership has no idea what they're doing
- They lie consistently to get the 'right' people in the door, only to have those people leave when they understand they were lied to. Things like 'there's no overtime required here', or 'we'll be able to offer you a salary increase after 6 months'.
- There's a constant flow of people leaving (9 people resigned in Q1 of 2019. At least half of the raises they promise to people would be possible, if turnover wasn't so high. They don't seem to understand that the cost of turnover is astronomical.
- Leadership invested in 14 gigantic monitors to be placed throughout the office - except they just sit in boxes. They also made this purchase about a few weeks before they laid some people off - which was a terrible look
- they can only afford to hire junior talent
