Pros
- Everything happens quickly, so you'll grow quickly. You'll be picking up software and new lessons left and right - Everybody works together, literally everybody. There's no hierarchical structure as it's a flat organization, so you can be chilling with one of the founders, front end engineers, and a DRI all at the same time. - People are friendly and helpful, so you'll never feel alone - Pay and benefits are great
Cons
- Grinding culture can be cumbersome if you're not ready for it, there's no expectations or mandated time, but everyone works super hard. If you wanna belong, you'll be putting in far more than a 9-5, so I wouldn't recommend this job for someone not willing to sacrifice some work-life balance - People are friendly and straight-forward, but also tough and fair, so you need to stay on top of things and never slack off. Both a pro and a con here depending on the person. - As this was my first job, it was extremely overwhelming to begin as there was no real onboarding process
