Pros
Smart and collaborative coworkers, engaging opportunities, remote work
Cons
Upper management was inauthentic and unclear in communicating business strategy. Leadership demonstrates thin-skinned attitudes toward criticism demonstrated by CEO talking down and downplaying employee comments during all company calls. In addition, the need to respond to Glassdoor reviews further demonstrates this. Favoritism and lack of diversity also was apparent as well as the boys club attitude at the top. They specialize in bro tech speak that inherently excludes and masks unclear business goals. No real mentorship opportunities even though they claim to be democratizing tech education. Two mass layoffs were difficult and opportunities for growth seem limited. Executives make decisions without considering their impact on people's lives and even the business bottom line as long as it seems to align with their idea of "growth".
