Pros
There are no pros to working here. I have been miserable since my second week.
Cons
The in-patient pharmacy is extremely understaffed, which means they expect you to work mandatory overtime. You never come into a shift knowing if you will be mandated or not. Poor supervisory staff, can’t fill positions and don’t appreciate the staff the do have. I have walked past my supervisor in the hallway 4 times in the last two weeks with ZERO acknowledgment, let alone a smile and nod. Little to no training in my department. At a good thing I was knowledgeable about pharmacy before I started working here because they didn’t even have a training schedule for me for my first two weeks. And they didn’t have enough staff to train me even if they would have had a training schedule ready. I was pretty much just thrown in on my first day of work. After all expenses such as parking fees and union fees are taken out of my pay check, I net less per pay period than I was expecting, these fees were not mentioned to me either. I was told negotiating was not allowed.
