Pros
Good entry level job to get into the field. Flexible hours, fun job overall, great for cat boarding and medical / geriatric boarding.
Cons
Low pay, you get tips but fluctuates often only abt 150-200 extra (during busy months) a month while only making abt 11-12/hr. Managing playgroups can be stressful due to inexperience from management. Playgroups could definitely be built better, educate staff more on more appropriate playgroups for each dogs individual playstyle. The business itself ,workers and management are all just new to this field, this is thier first job in the industry and it often felt like they don't know what was needed in certain situations. The people I worked with were great but things sometimes felt like some people were not educated/qualified. Pay rasies are only about 50cents for alot more work and alot is expected from you. Can be a stressful environment.
