Pros
- Impressive tech firm. I'm in the content removal team and recommend it. Fridays are great. You get free lunch/drinks and finish early. They have caterers but also often treat everyone to a nice lunch outing.
- Kitchen is stocked with free snacks. There’s also a ping pong table and massage chair.
-Know how to have a good time and often do interesting and quirky team events (e.g. visit a winery, cooking challenges).
- Any office equipment you need? It’s yours. Some people have an insanely awesome set up.
- You will be working with a lot of smart people who look out for you and are happy to help (the Head of Enterprise, Dave, is particularly brilliant).
- Learn a lot about how Google and other online platforms work behind the scenes.
- I’ve also worked in the account management team and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for an account manager role.
- The content removal roles are good for lawyers. When I started, I was still a law student and found that I could balance it with my studies. It’s unique in the way that it combines law and tech. You will learn a lot of useful skills.
- They were originally a startup that won a lot of awards and has grown in size. They got bought by a bigger company and that’s when things really took off.
- It’s a place where you can truly make an impact and help people. Your contributions and achievements are recognised by the leaders. There are plenty of growth opportunities to level up within the business.
- They have huge clients in their portfolio from all these different industries.
- CEO Andy is a cool guy. He puts a lot of work into the company and is pretty busy but is friendly and you can always approach him if you have an idea or concern.
- I see some older reviews mentioning that the salary could be better for the content removal roles but credit to them they took this feedback onboard and upped everyone in the team's pay. It’s pretty competitive these days.
Cons
- The office is a vibe but could use a little makeover, let’s spruce it up a bit with some new plants and decorations.
- The next trivia night is long overdue.
- Ping pong table needs some new equipment.
