Cons
-Renaissance doesn’t have an HR department, so be prepared - you won’t find support or training on their systems or products - “HR” is the CEO’s personal assistant, not an experienced HR professional. -Renaissance also lacks an IT department- “IT” is the manager, accounts payable, and definitely not a network engineer - be prepared to solve their IT issues. -The company struggles with high turnover because store leadership micromanages to exhaustion, doesn’t compensate competitively, and the benefits are mediocre at best. -It’s nearly impossible to accrue PTO. Salaried employees are still technically paid by the hour. -Commissions aren’t paid until $40,000 of product is sold each month- regardless of the amount of quoting or the time you’ll spend cleaning up the last design consultant’s mishaps.
